Luke Hendry
Luke Hendry draws on both his journalism background and love of nature when composing his photographs. A trained journalist, his career has included work as staff reporter and later stringer for The Toronto Star as well as other freelance assignments. He's currently one of two reporter-photographers for The Bancroft Times, a weekly independent newspaper in Bancroft, Ontario.
Some of his most popular photographs are those of the aurora borealis, or northern lights. They have been featured in SkyNews and the Canadian magazine of astronomy, including one which was selected as the magazine's photo of the week in January 2002.
