Inspired by the beautiful setting of her studio/home on Dickey Lake and a lifetime of love for nature, Rita's original images display an intimate detail and refreshing realism seldom seen in today's quick pace world. The ability to capture the warmth of the sun's glow, and it's reflections and shadows that play on her "naturescapes", draw you into the scene and make her work truly special.
Rita operates a private gallery in her cottage/home in the Algonquin Highlands offering regular open house events and as well she looks for selected shows and retail galleries to showcase her work. Rita’s work has been accepted in numerous juried shows, and is already a treasured part of many private collections. She offers both original canvas paintings as well as the highest quality of limited edition giclee prints available on both watercolour paper and canvas, framed or unframed.
Rita invites you to take a drive and visit her studio/gallery most any time to view a full spectrum of her work. Located on Jennison Rd. (formerly East Dickey Rd.), a paved year-round road, with access from Steenburg Lake Rd. North and Hwy 62 to the east, and the Historic Ridge Rd. and Hwy 620 to the north, the gallery is easy to get to from any direction!
